John Dau Foundation

 The John Dau Foundation, founded by Lost Boy and genocide survivor John Dau, partners with South Sudan Nation Builders to provide healthcare, medical clinics, and community health worker training in South Sudan. Its efforts aim to address the severe health challenges in one of the world's most impoverished and war-torn countries, with a focus on treating and preventing diseases while battling the impacts of climate change. They have fed 1.7 million people suffering malnutrition through their nutrition programs.

  • UNESCO x Amnesty International

    The partnership between Amnesty International and UNESCO aims to strengthen the freedom of expression and empower civil society organizations to raise freedom of expression concerns in their UPR engagement and to follow up so those commitments are implemented at a local level. This project is funded by UNESCO’s Multi-Donor Programme for freedom of expression and the safety of journalists.

  • RAICES

    Amnesty, alongside the 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, RAICES, provided free and low-cost legal services to refugees and immigrant children in Texas. In 2020 alone, the alliance united more than 400 families through the #FreeTheFamilies campaign in the USA and the partnership became the voice of those separated within border facilities, leading to many legal changes. Their work enabled changes that meant families separated for more than a month were forced to be released. Over 10,548 cases were opened in 2020, serving over 8,719 clients.

  • Haitian Bridge Alliance

    The project alliance between Amnesty InterChange and Haitian Bridge Alliance focuses on the release of a report, “They Did Not Treat Us Like People’: Race and Migration-Related Torture and Other Ill-Treatment of Haitians Seeking Safety in the USA”. This press conference and report release aimed to spread information about the terrors many Haitians face while seeking refuge in the United States with a particular focus on Black migrants, the Haitian community, women, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and survivors of torture. Through this partnership, Amnesty and the Haitian Bridge Alliance were able to connect migrants with humanitarian, legal, and social services and pave a new path for fair and humane immigration policies.

  • Fatal Fuels

    In a briefing titled, Fatal Fuels, Amnesty International calls for parties at COP28 to agree to a full, fair, fast, and funded phase-out of fossil fuels and a human rights-compliant transition to renewable power which facilitates access to energy for all. The conference targets fossil fuel pollution and damage around the world and aids local communities in achieving an adequate standard of living, clean water, and health. The summit continues to fight against the mass production of oil and gas and prioritizes the environment starting with legal action and eventual policy change.
