Background Information

The Special Political and Decolonization Committee (SPECPOL) is the fourth committee of the United Nations General Assembly & is concerned with a wide variety of issues of the international community, particularly those dealing with political economic decolonization, hostile territorial occupations, the effects of atomic radiation, peacekeeping efforts, and the peaceful and equitable use of outer space.
